According to survey, 40% of Blackberry owners want to switch to an iPhone | iPhonefreak
That means that nearly half of all Blackberry owners would be willing to ditch their Blackberries for iPhones, the real question here is: why haven’t they? Now, while I don’t have a concrete answer for you (and I doubt Apple does either,) I can speculate by saying that a good portion of these Blackberry owners are probably somewhat turned off by the quality of the coverage and service plans offered by AT&T. I personally know a good number of people who are far more happy with service providers such as Verizon and T-Mobile. Once Apple’s exclusivity deal with AT&T burns out, I expect we’ll see a fair number of Blackberry users make the shift from the Blackberry to the iPhone.
